series introduces three new elegant movement models, paying tribute to the legendary work. The pioneering spirit represented by the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont is reinterpreted through three lacquered movements.
The pioneer of aviation, Albert Santos-Dumont, was known for his sophisticated dress for any occasion, and was a representative of the elegant style of his day. The aviator advocates the three principles of elegance, simplicity and practicality. From suit vests and shirt collars, to cuffed trousers and reverse-wearing peaked caps, all of them show his dashing demeanor. In 1904, he ordered the first metal quartz skeleton clock kit from the Hengrong clock mechanical series.
In 2018, the Hengrong was reinterpreted, faithfully continuing the pure shape of the prototype watch. This year, the series introduces three limited-edition movements, inheriting the elegance of Albert Santos-Dumont.
The new work presents three shades, including burgundy with platinum, beige with gold and black with stainless steel, hand-ground and polished, and the delicate translucent lacquer adds luster, dimension and depth to the dial tone.
